Jimmy Eat World and Manchester Orchestra are set to perform at the KEMBA Live! on Saturday August 19th, 2023. The two bands will be performing together for the first time ever, and fans are already eagerly anticipating the show.
Jimmy Eat World is an American rock band that formed in Mesa, Arizona, in 1993. The band is composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Jim Adkins, drummer Zach Lind, guitarist and backing vocalist Tom Linton, and bassist Rick Burch. The band rose to prominence in the early 2000s with their fourth album Bleed American (2001), which contained the singles “The Middle” and “Bleed American”. In the years since, the band has continued to release successful albums and tour the world, playing to sold-out crowds wherever they go.
Manchester Orchestra is an American rock band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 2004. The band is composed of vocalist and guitarist Andy Hull, guitarist Robert McDowell, bassist Andy Prince, and drummer Tim Very. The band’s debut album, I’m Like a Virgin Losing a Child (2006), was met with critical acclaim and helped to launch the band’s career.
